18.01.2022 The UK regulator of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has made a series of amendments on the accounting and reporting standards to address topical issues such as COVID-19-related rent concessions and maintaining the necessary alignment with international standards. The latest amendments are: FRS 101 - Reduced Disclosure Framework The revised effective date is 1 January 2023, allowing insurers to apply FRS 101 for a further two years.... FRS 102 - The Financial Reporting Standard Applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland FRS 105 - The Financial Reporting Standard Applicable to the Micro-entities Regime Recognises change in operating lease payments arising from COVID-19-related rent concessions. The effective date falls on 1 January 2020.
