24.01.2022 Tuesday fun fixing up a small retaining wall, what a difference Back tommorow to do a little acid wipe to make the red in the bricks pop

20.01.2022 Some repointing and maintenance done on a deck of an older brick house. Now it looks nice and fresh all ready for SALE. Its a great idea to get things dealt with if your looking at selling. Even just the front of a house can make a big difference.

07.01.2022 A small retaining wall we touched up. Made it look alot nicer when you first walked through the gate. This was a grey mortar. But there are many colors. Grey Off white & black are my favourites.... Red can look lovely too though. We're doing a quote for a repair for a primary school tommorow which is very exciting. Doesnt have to be a huge job to make a big difference to appearance. See more

04.01.2022 This is why its so important to get things fixed professionally at the beginning. This schools grounds keeper did his best to patch up a wall where a child had picked away and kicked at the mortar. Unfortunately he used cement So without replacing all the bricks which the school didn't want to do (pointing is better for the budget) We Repointed and got off as much of the cement as possible with acid. We also rendered behind the wall to make it more sturdy in case the same ...children decided to practise their kicking again. Lesson A: Dont use cement to try patch up bricks and Lesson B: Just get it done professionally at the start to avoid more damage :D Exciting week ahead with Hobarts largest Private school contacting us for some pointing jobs :D Enjoy the rest of your week everyone <3
