09.01.2022 $10 FRIDAY special PULLED PORK SPICE BLEND -->RECIPE<-- Slow cooker pulled pork 1.5kg-2kg Pork shoulder/Forequarter roast... 2 tsp YIAH Pulled pork spice blend 2 tsp YIAH Nomad meat rub 1 tsp YIAH Country baked apple pie baking spice 2 cups Chicken stock 1 tin Diced tomatoes 1/4 cups Brown sugar 2 tbs Tomato paste 1. Use a sharp knife to remove runs off pork. (Use to make crackle). 2. Mix the three YIAH spices together in a small dish. 3. Rub the dry mix all over the pork and put pork into the slow cooker 4. In a large bowl mix together the chicken stock, tinned tomatoes, brown sugar and tomato paste. 5. Pour this wet mix over the pork in slow cooker. 6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. 7. Once cooked, shred the pork in the slow cooker with two forks to make pulled pork. 8. Pour the juice & pork into a large heatproof dish to keep it juicy. ENJOY :) We had ours with coleslaw and smoky BBQ sauce on brioche buns. Soooo good!! -->Coleslaw dressing - the BEST!!!! 3 tbs sour cream 2 tbs whole egg mayo 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp YIAH Wasabi & chives dip mix Lemon juice to taste Mix well in a small bowl. Make this about an hour before serving to get best flavour. Then mix with packet coleslaw mix. Or what I did tonight was grated carrot and finely sliced red cabbage. See more
