08.01.2022 Eat Slower to Stay Slimmer Those who I've worked with know I harp on about this all the time. You must chew your food until it is the consistency of baby mush and the digestive process has started to occur in your mouth before swallowing. Inhaling or scoffing food not only means your meal is over quickly but could push up the risk of piling weight according to the researchers. A study of 60,000 people by scientists at Kyushu University in Japan found those who ate slowly were... 42 percent less likely to be overweight than fast eaters. This is because it takes 20 minutes for the brain to realise the stomach is full, so fast eaters keep on going well after they have had enough. Eating a meal within two hour sof going to bed, as the metabolism slows, also boosts the chance of weight gain.

08.01.2022 I saw a demand for weight loss coaching in 2011 and spend the next 18 months in study. I wrote the manual working with a number of doctors to get their input. I went overseas to get input because Europe is much more advanced with this weight loss methodology than we are. 01.01.2022 Plateau breakers is something I'm asked about often. Where I'm managing a client I know what is happening on a day to day basis so plateaus are pretty much nipped in the bud before they become frustrating. There are a number of plateau busters, I use about 15 and I'm sure there are more. Some common ones are sleep, fluids and not enough food. Sleep is one of the secrets to weight loss so get to bed early and get to sleep. Enough fluid. Additional fluid will assist in promotin...g adequate digestion, help prevent constipation and may help to flush out toxins and fats. Not eating enough, you may not be getting enough food so try increasing your protein by 25 grams. Everyone is different and so people eating only 500 calories are hungry and the weigh loss stops. It takes me about 4 to 5 days to work out how many cals a client should be having and that number is somewhere between 500 and 800 calories. See more
