Matt has practiced in the Brazilian art of Capoeira for the past seven years, enjoying the expressive and playful nature of the dance-fight. In his practice, he has grown a strong interest in movement play, body awareness, and mindfulness to gather a greater appreciation for the capabilities of the body. Matt was a facilitator at our last TWO retreats, everyone was SO warmed by his energy and patience. He has a fun and encouraging way of exploring movement. We just had to have him back again!!! In his own time Matt can be found exploring movement flow, and further education in freeing up the body for better mobility. When he is not playing, Matt’s professional career interests in Exercise Physiology encompass neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, and prescribing movement therapy to improve quality of life.
