25.01.2022 Marg from Breast Cancer Awareness came into spa this morning to collect our donation from our October fund raiser and we are so proud to announce that we raised $580 !!! Amazing !! We can’t wait to go BIGGER AND BETTER next year. It is so important to be aware of the signs and changes on our chest ladies - Cancer does not discriminate. Thank you to everyone who did visit our spa for a facial in October your support is greatly appreciated

25.01.2022 "To celebrate and come together in the spirit of reconciliation, we would like to share some background information and intentions of our LiTya protocols, smoking ritual and products. 20 years ago, LiTya was launched into Spa and Wellness Industry after extensive collaborate with specific Aboriginal groups, Elders and community members. As one of the Elders is a therapist and traditional healer, she facilitated the treatment development, of which Kodo(melody) is recognised as... an important treatment from her families cultural lineage. To honour our intention of integrity, we included a small "smoking ritual" which in other cultures is known as "smudging", "incence burning", "bell ringing, clapping etc" This ritual is from the Elders protocols and used as an integral part of the LiTya treatments, as a clearing, cleansing and grounding element. It is intended to "create a sacred space" for each treatment. It is important to recognise that each area has it's own ceremony and understanding of cultural knowledge and LiTyas way is honouring the uniqueness and importance of cultural inclusiveness. The essence of LiTya is supporting education and awareness raising, providing specific healing methods from one area of Aboriginal Australia, using pure botanical essence, oils and a philisophical approach which combine to create a truly unique experience."
