24.01.2022 This is worth sharing as difficulties with executive functioning is a part of the invisibility of some disabilities. This may give more insight into what executive functioning does and how these areas may be difficult for some people.

22.01.2022 Are you Deaf / HoH and a NRS user? From 20 April 2021 you will have to register to continue to use the NRS. Best to register now! You can register online via this link: https://nrschat.nrscall.gov.au/nrs/registration

21.01.2022 #boycottnrsregistration because forcing people who need to use NRS to register just to make their telephone calls is discriminatory as hearing people can make phone calls without having to do something like this. Furthermore it is not just an user id and pass the NRS are asking for. It is personal details and proof of these personal details. The decision to make registration compulsory was based on submissions from 25 individuals AND ORGANISATIONS. Is this a fair sample of the Australian Deaf and HoH and speech challenged population? I think not!

10.01.2022 Repost: A disability legal rights service (Villamanta) posted about an AAT case about whether the NDIS needs to consider all your disability, or just what they call the primary one. The decision was made in favour of the participant. There is a statement posted on their site from the participant in question - http://www.villamanta.org.au//statement-regarding-nvwc-an/
