12.01.2022 We are so thrilled to announce that we have made it to the Semi-Finals in the TAFE SA Connecting Communities Award, which forms part of the 2018 South Australian Community Achievement Awards recognising our commitment to social empowerment through circus in communities across the APY lands for over 14 years. This is a timely nomination as it is the last year we will be running this program. What a wonderful journey it has been working with inspiring young people and their families. We are alongside some other wonderful organisations and value the recognition of achievement to all community focussed organisations doing great work out there.

07.01.2022 Merry Christmas and best wishes to all our friends and family. Wow, 2018 has certainly been a big year of change for us as we have endeavoured to create positive change in the world as we finish up one very long chapter of Circosis. This year we ran our last Circosis Social Circus outreach program to remote Indigenous communities, where we have been lucky enough to learn from and share with amazing people from the oldest continuing culture in the world. ... The Circosis Social Circus Program (CSCP) has visited over 60 communities in remote Australia and globally, with over 10 000 participants over a 14 year period. We have got to rejoice with and mutually build upon existing community capital through Social Circus and community revelry during this journey and we are forever grateful to the patient and knowledgeable custodians of these countries we have been fortunate enough to visit and to the many people who we have built lasting relationships with. 04.01.2022 That time we toured our original full length theatre show to Edinburgh Fringe Festival
04.01.2022 It was great to be part of this community art project with the wonderful @Incite Arts who promote community and inclusivity through the arts. This chalk art was done by Sarah and animated by Cooky: Incite Arts present Episode Six "Bloom" as part of the Unbroken Land 2020 water-themed series. After the rain, the inevitable new life blossoms out from the red earth. This episode is a stop motion animation of chalk artwork created by Alice Springs/Mparntwe based artist, Sarah Coo...k. A stunning visual delight; this episode illustrates the growth of new life emerging from the desert landscape. Sarah is a Performance and Visual Artist who has worked alongside communities in far-flung regions such as remote areas of Madagascar, Costa Rica, Central Australia and Arnhem Land. 02.01.2022 Happy NYE to you all, our friends and family, wishing you all the best for 2019. Patience, trust, rising to some big challenges and change, pretty much describes the year that was 2018 for us. As we reflect on the year, often it felt like we were in a transit lounge waiting, in limbo between places. Whereas in fact so many amazing opportunities have presented themselves this year. ... We kicked off 2018 in beautiful Tasmania, our home away from home. Back in Alice Springs, we started new work and studies. Cooky ran the Gold Coast marathon and Sarah became a clown doctor and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. Inyika started Pre - school. We travelled to spectacular Norway and Iceland and we ran our last Social Circus program at Kaltukatjara.
