21.01.2022 Hi everyone, I am sorry to inform you all that their will be no training this week due to the current situation. We will be having a meeting to discuss what to do moving forward, sorry for any inconvenience.



18.01.2022 Boxing fitness class was on tonight and man oh man they were working hard!! Our gym caters for all skill levels and encourages the public to come try out a session! $15 for adults and $10 for under 16 years old.

17.01.2022 What an amazing njght of fights! Paige put up a valiant effort for her first fight, overcoming the nerves and stepping through the ropes for a fight in front of a massive crowd takes an extreme amount of courage and speaks leagues to her character. We are looking forward to seeing her continue to fight and grow as a warrior! Kyle fought a close battle with his opponent, landing amazing combinations and keeping the pressure on, he was composed throughout the fight and staye...d in the pocket. Well done champ, onwards and upwards, we see big things for you in the future. Jacob put on an absolute a1 demonstration and picked his opponent apart over the course of three rounds. With amazing head movement and counter combos he was able to bring home a win for the club. Congratulations and bring on April! Well done to all of our fighters and their opponents. Boxing is a sport where you never lose, you only learn and grow. The sportsmanship our fighters presented was top class and humbling. Thank you to our coaches for your hard work and support, without you these guys this club wouldn't exist. And a special thank you to our supporters who made the trip down to cheer the squad on, it's so important to have local support when our fighters are representing Circular Head and it really showed last night. So here's a little workout for you to do at home and stay sharp whilst in iso :) Warm Up: 30 seconds jumping jacks 30 seconds lateral leaps... 30 seconds running with fast feet 30 seconds knees to elbows with hands on head 20 Shoulder rotations 20 Torso rotations 20 Leg swings Shadow boxing in mirror: 1 min slow focusing on technique, including head movement 1 min same but faster Round 1: 1 min: combo Double jab, jab to body Jab, cross Step in, left uppercut, cross 30 secs: jab, cross continuous Coaching tip: remember to drop your height for the jab to body and rotate on the cross 1 minute alternating donkey kicks 1 minute alternating lunges Round 2: 1 min: combo Jab, cross Left hand rip to the body Short hook Cross Coaching tip: rotate on rip and hook 30 secs: hooks With hand weights: (could use baked bean cans) 20 shoulder press 20 front shoulder raise 20 lateral shoulder raise 20 tricep extensions 20 bicep curls Repeat!
