21.01.2022 To the CHFA life members, sponsors, players, spectators and the wider football community, For the last few months we have been meeting on a fortnightly basis to work through the process of putting the 2021 season pieces together to ensure we continue in a way that is viable for the clubs and for the demographics of our community. After lengthy discussions to consider and converse on all circumstances positive & negative surrounding each club individually and the association... as a whole we are excited to be able to announce and share with the community that as a result we will be trialing moving forward into our 2021 season the following teams- Seniors Reserves U16’s U12’s I wish to thank the clubs who have shown resilience, leadership and a respect for all involved during this period of time. Forest-Stanley Football Club Scotchtown Football Club Irishtown Football Club Redpa Football Club Thanks goes out to our community for your patience, understanding and cooperation in these trying times and I urge you all to jump onboard get actively involved with your clubs moving forward working on the return and particularly now as they start to prepare for the 2021 season. Regards, Thalia Bishop President

18.01.2022 I wish to inform the CHFA Life members, Sponsors, Players and members that I have announced to our clubs in the past week that I will be stepping down as President at the year’s end to take on further study. This was a difficult decision to make but I had to consider not only the football community but respect my personal & family commitments in the process too. Over the years working in some capacity in the CHFA at a club or association level have been both rewarding and f...ulfilling and I wish to thank everybody for the support provided to me over the course of my time particularly in the role of President. Also our Treasurer Nigel McIntosh has just moved interstate so we wish to thank Nige for his support and great work this past year given the circumstances of our Covid season and wish him all the very best on the mainland. This open announcement is a way to help spread the word and for people to keep their eyes and ears open for any individuals who are passionate about local community football and would be ideal to take up an opportunity to give back to Circular Head. I encourage past, present or supporting members/players to jump on board at the next AGM as we have the President, Secretary and the Treasurer roles to fill moving into our 2021 season. If you would like any further info on any of these roles please don’t be afraid to reach out. I am happy to facilitate the transition process in any way moving forward from the AGM. Thanking you! Thalia
