14.01.2022 Spring is just around the corner, the weather is gradually improving, so its time to dust off that picnic blanket. In 1895 the Weston family did just that. Aft...er hitching the horses to the buggy they headed off to Rocky Cape. Theyve even brought their own music the man in the light coloured suit sitting in the centre has a trumpet! Please follow the Waratah Wynyard council page for information about how they have transformed the usual tulip festival into a series of smaller events under the Spring Loaded banner for 2020, in order to comply with restrictions. 04.01.2022 Its a little tricky to see with all the reflections, but this is the window of @theartyducksmithton for the @charts_circular_head window competition. This year...s theme is "home" hence the quote, "home is where the art is". All the handmade products are pink and the picture frames I put all over the window are to frame the products as you look at them through the window. Its a window for looking through, not at. Walk past and check it out, or better still, walk in and see some of the talents of the amazing makers in our area! Also, if you swipe to the last photo there is a little surprise for some of you locals #localartists #charts #circularhead #circularheadarts #windowdrawing #windowart #windowmural #glassartwork #glassart #art #home #localcrafters #localmakers #supportsmallbusiness #supportlocal #shopsmall #buyhandmade #chalklettering #chalkmarker #fauxcalligraphy #moderncalligraphy #handlettered #calligraphyart
