25.01.2022 Week 2 of our Club Championships this Thursday. This is our last meet for the season ( lets hope the weather is nicer to us this week) Followed by our presentation night the week after. See you all for warm ups at 5:30pm. We will have our raffle numbers available to purchase. $20 each. So if anyone or your friends or family want one, bring your money and choose your fave number.

23.01.2022 We have been invited to compete in the Little Athletics 100m handicap event at the Devonport Christmas Carnival on Sunday 24th January. Any athlete that is interested must submit their name to our office by Thursday 7th January.

07.01.2022 The Tasmanian Government Ticket to Play Program is open for 2020, giving eligible families $100.00 vouchers to contribute to the cost of sports registration fee...s. Families with a current Health Care or Pension Card can apply to receive up to two $100.00 vouchers for each child aged 5 - 17 years. Once approved, vouchers can be redeemed when registering your children with their local Little Athletics Centre for the 2020-2021 season. To register for the Ticket to Play vouchers go to https://www.communities.tas.gov.au/tick/apply-for-a-voucher Registrations for Ticket to Play voucher holders will open this weekend.

06.01.2022 Hi everyone. As you know, this coronavirus has made it hard with events going ahead. Unfortunately we will NOT be able to go ahead with our presentation evening tomorrow night. And just to top that off, we have had a printing issue with our certificates. So they will not be ready for collection this week. Hoping they will be ready for collection next week. I will be at the track next Thursday 26th March between 5:30pm-6pm for those that are able to collect ribbons and certificates. Those not able to collect, we will get them to you. Not the greatest end to the season, but out of our control unfortunately. Sorry for any inconvenience. But hoping everyone understands. If anyone has any queries, send us a message. PLEASE SHARE.

05.01.2022 A great night for the 2nd week of championships thanks to all the athletes for their dedication & determination to better their PBs each week. Thanks to all the parents for their assistance & support throughout the year. Thanks to the volunteer sausage cooker Julie Oates. The club wouldnt to continue to run without you all. We have 1 more fun activity day which will be tonights ribbon & certificate presentation. Watch this space for dates & details for that.

04.01.2022 STATE INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th March, 2021 Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart Nominations are now open for Little Athletics Tasmania State Individual Championships through your family portal at https://resultshq.com.au... To nominate, log in to your FAMILY profile and click on the NOMINATIONS tab at the top of the page. Qualifying conditions for participation in the 2021 LATas State Individual Championships are as follows: Entry Conditions * All athletes must be registered with Little Athletics Tasmania to compete. * Athletes MUST have earned their 25 Participation Award by closing date and MUST have the badge on their competition top * Athletes must have competed in an event a minimum of 2 times throughout the season prior to the closing date. * Under 8 Under 13 athletes that enter events they have qualified TWICE in at any CENTRE or STATE MEETING from the start of the season to the closing date of entries will be guaranteed a spot in that event. * Under 8 Under 13 athletes who have not obtained qualifiers for an event may still enter but shall only be included should the recommended quota for the event not be obtained from the qualifying entries. Entry fees will be refunded if athletes are not selected for events they have nominated for. Note: Under 14 and Under 15 athletes do not need to obtain qualifiers for State Championships but must have competed in the events they wish to enter TWICE. * Entries close on Monday, 15 February 2021 at 6:00 pm. No late entries will be accepted. Entries must be completed via the online entry portal. * LATas Name Badge and the 25 event badges must be displayed on the athletes uniform. * CLUB UNIFORM MUST BE WORN. Failure to have correct uniform may lead to disqualification of athlete. **If anyone has any questions, come see us tomorrow night at the track.
