24.01.2022 Historic Morgan Railway Station in the mid-Murray region of South Australia was the host for restoration and conservation works for 16 Heritage Trades course participants during April, 2013. Throughout the week a number of practical hands-on techniques were tackled including paint removal, undersetting, re-pointing, ceiling stabilisation, lath & plaster repair, render removal, internal wall re-plastering and traditional mortar technology. It is anticipated that skills acquired during the course will be maintained and passed on to help preserve our heritage buildings.

09.01.2022 Hey heritage heroes! Check out the pics from our heritage trades course at Morgan Railway Station. The time and effort it took to restore and reveal the original facade, alongside many other conservation techniques works to establish the building for future generations to admire. Hopefully the course participants will also maintain and pass-down their skills so that many more heritage buildings can be enjoyed for years to come.
