04.01.2022 Tip-Top Tipper! We recently completed this Gravel Tipper Body Changeover for Mircon Industries in Sydney. The removable body converts back to a Prime Mover in under 10 min with the aid of a unique chassis-mounted body lift system. This gives Mircon the flexibility of using the Mercedes Actros as a fully functional Gravel Tipper or hook up to their machinery float as a Prime Mover in a matter of minutes. ... Capped off with a cab-operated powered tarp, Mircon also opted for a top-end powder-coated finish which involved sandblasting then applying a zinc-based powder prime coat before the final coloured top coat, giving a tough and corrosion-resistant finish.
