Pre-orders are now welcome through our Citrus & Spice inbox Pick up from Pickled Bean Cafe between 5pm to 6pm. Payments via efptos at pick up thanks. No last minute cancellations thanks Lamb Rogan Josh: A smoky and sweet taste base, which consists of onions that have been browned in oil or ghee (clarified butter) until essentially caramelized, as well... as the heavy dose of bracing, warming spices like whole cardamom, clove, Bay leaves and cinnamon. Chicken Karahi: Chicken karahi’s distinguishing features are its rich, tomatoey base and a fragrant finishing of green chili peppers, cilantro, and slivers of ginger. POTATO CHICKPEA CURRY: a very popular vegetarian option. It is tangy dish that slow cooked into chickpea stock a variety of spices ginger/garlic paste and yougurt. A finally combined with freshly chopped coriander. It’s the BEST vegetarian lunch from the lands of South Asia and if you aren’t sold yet, you can also just try the chickpea curry on its own with a paratha. MATAR CHAWAL / GREEN PEA RICE: Long grain basmati rice cooked to perfection with Green peas, Cumin seeds, Bay leaves, Star Anise and Cinnamon sticks. BHAGARAY ALOO RAITA: Raita is a sauce made with yogurt there are alot of different kinds of Raitas served with Indian food. This specific Raita is made with potato chunks, cumin powder, salt and topped up with a special tempering made toasted spices, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves in hot oil. When the tempering is poured on cold sauce it makes a sizzling sound which is called Bhagar in Hindi. P.s this was a star dish from our last cook up so its Back on demand. Aromatic golden fried chicken pieces in an incredible creamy curry sauce made in Butter an...d topped up with cream. P.s trying this once is a must we assure you that you will love it. DAAL Makhni: Slow cooked lentils with tomatoes fresh ginger & garlic, a variety of spices, butter and heaps of fresh coriander. Topped up with a tempering made with cumin seed and curry leaves in butter. Saag Gosht / Spinach and Beef curry A dish made with slow cook spinach in lots of garlic tomato and beautiful full of flavour and fragrant spices. Combined with fried meat in ginger garlic paste and pan toasted spices also slow cooked in stock.
