21.01.2022 Thank you so much for the performance last week, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and found that the stories, songs and music have kept reverberating. Beyond St Kilda, it is such a gift to all of us Melbournians to have these stories told which are so unique and have such special significance. These stories have now been passed across generations through City of Lost Souls. It is a real achievement that you managed to bring senior artists together with community artists a...nd Albert Part College to celebrate, commemorate and build a sense of place that is St Kilda. City of Lost Souls brings all these elements together in a compelling story to tell stories of the rich history and heritage of St Kilda, which from early days has sparkled so brightly, but has also drawn down darker impulses, and has always been a refuge and hotbed of creativity. I look forward to further developments and congratulate you as director, writer, producer and the rest of the creative team on a magnificent show and a significant achievement. Well done, and regards, Dr Angela Campbell Senior Lecturer | Performing Arts Arts Academy | Faculty of Education and Arts Federation University, Ballarat nb. 21.01.2022 A review: "Congratulations on the show. I think it was great and worked really well. I really enjoyed the localism of this show, that it worked with people who are part of St Kilda, who have grown up there, and who want to be part of an art work that celebrates its specificity. It was great to hear autobiographical accounts, small histories that together make up the lived experience of the place. Also to hear songs about real people, women who died on the streets, not far fro...m Theatre Works. The makers of this work are to be congratulated, along with the many local performers who made it happen. Photo by Deborah Jane Photography

15.01.2022 Reviews have been amazing ... and appreciated: "Hugo [Gutteridge] was wonderful - so sincere and charismatic. I thought the whole thing was beautiful. A few hit songs in there I reckon. The final two songs especially. A lot of imagination and sadness and it really does see St Kilda through poetic and secret eyes and makes something beautiful from difficult stories and lives. Mammoth effort - how many on the team in total? 120?!?! Congratulations."

09.01.2022 Farewell one of St Kilda's angels at the Palais Theatre - 2pm Tuesday, 24th September. RIP Mirka Mora
