25.01.2022 Election in review - Media Sites and Postings - Summary V1...... With the election over, the history revision is moving at a face pace ..... COPP 2020 Council Election Forum has disappeared. ROPP has cleaned its pages of all debate and correction requests to its "Facts" The ROPP/COPP/Safety Astroturf Pages (St Kilda, Elwood, Port Phillip) have been relatively quiet in their general councillor / community defamation postings since the election - maybe it the weather.... The Albert Park Families and Port Melbourne Focus forums played a very straight bat - banning political posts once it was clear the astrosurfers were starting on their "do your own research scripts" Friends of StKilda (were relatively neutral with a left of centre bent) and Elwood Uncensored were unapologetically pro Green/left - but allowed debate from the right. Marcus Pearl did an unbiased view of the vote council race. With the election of Mayor and Vice .... we look forward to the next four years. This site will now switch to promise/voting fact checks .... there are those whom perhaps overpromised during the election process - tracking their performance is the next phase of this portal... Fact check posts are always welcome ....

22.01.2022 The Lina award ... for double speak, dodgy headlines and outright "economies of truth" ... Feel free to add your own examples

20.01.2022 Coming up ... Council meeting / decision summaries ... Whom is voting as a block, whom is following their election promise / mandate, whom is just kicking on.

16.01.2022 Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely What does one do when one is called out for publishing rubbish one knows is incorrect, damaging, designed to confuse and obfusticate - and benifit ones own interests (investments) in the future.... One stymies conversation in "election forums","community pages" and block AND delete any record of the conversation ....

14.01.2022 Council Elections over for 4 years. 1 Independent 2 Labour / Left 2 Green 4 Liberal / Right... The electorate has voted in - the council they deserve :) Thanks Marcus Pearl for original graphic (edited)
