16.01.2022 City West and Western Water have welcomed the news of the formation of Greater Western Water from 1 July 2021. Joining as one will strengthen our ability to support the growing demand for infrastructure and services in the west, and ensure we continue to meet our customers’ expectations. Importantly, there will be no job losses as staff move to the new water corporation, which will also create jobs and significantly reduce household water bills into the future. 13.01.2022 We are upgrading your water main If you live in or visit Ascot Vale you may have noticed us out and about recently that’s because we’re currently upgrading approximately 390 metres of the water main on Union Road, between Munro and Geddes Streets.
