25.01.2022 The City of Melbourne Bowls Club in West Melbourne is looking to fill multiple Bar/FOH positions as we come into our busy summer period. We are looking for enthusiastic, smiling staff with attention to detail to join our team. What you need: - Minimum 2 years bar experience with current RSA... - Experience with cash up and closing a venue - Experience with draft beer systems - Be available on Friday nights and weekends - Be comfortable with tray service (there’ll be a test ) What we can give: - Award rates including weekend penalties - Varied shifts available including Monday Friday and Weekend work. Days and evenings. - No super late finishes. 25.01.2022 Bowling Green Closure - 27/3/2020 Given updated Government directives, advice from Bowls Australia and Bowls Victoria along with our continued efforts to ensure the health and safety of our Members our Greens are now closed. We wish everyone the best during this trying time.... Stay safe.

25.01.2022 Nearly there. A bit disappointing that we could not get back on the green this week but won’t be long. We are planning to re-open the Greens as soon as we are allowed to (hopefully Monday 19th October). Until then keep calm and carry on.

13.01.2022 As everyone is aware the ‘Victorian Government’s Roadmap for Reopening’ was released on Sunday. We are awaiting advice from Bowls Victoria as to when we can get back on the green but it appears we may not be able to have a roll up until the Third Step of the Roadmap. Please see the link to the roadmap attached https://www.vic.gov.au//Victoria-roadmap-Melbourne-Metro_0 We’ll continue to monitor the situation and will let you all know when we are likely to be able to get back on the green. In the meantime stay safe.

We are bowling again :) Given recent Government directives, advice from Bowls Victoria, and our obligations to ensure the health and safety of our members, guests and staff, the City of Melbourne Bowls Club is currently operating under the following guidelines.... June 9th June 30th - Member Bars Closed (as we are not a restaurant or café and do not have those facilities available we are not permitted to open the bar) - 20 Bowlers (Members only) per Green are permitted with social distancing and COVID safe guidelines - Rink bookings are mandatory with the names of all players required to be recorded at the time of booking.
