19.01.2022 What a day !!!! Live music was alive and well at the City Diggers. First we rocked out to Johnny Vs Heroes show. Great to see our longtime show crowd back to rock out with Johnny and all the 50s and 60s rock hits. Then we were back after a clean up and disinfectant spray, set tables up for our dinner show with Stephen Fisher King. Wow what a show !!! A big shout out to the Artists that came to entertain us but also to the people that worked behind the scenes. Chef Tri...sh. Massive day with over 250 meals served though out the day up stairs and down on a small staff crew. To our sound man lucky Phil. Phil Nixon who has been in this game since the game has started and is always there to help and guide. My wait staff Jordan to help me set up and reset making sure we were following the COVID safe placing of tables. Jamie lee ( a super big thank you ) and Kane who always gives 100 percent to any challengers that can arises thank-you xxx. Such a great club. Sad news re the Illawarra Folk Festival, but the crew involved won't let the music stop! Great to hear Penny Eastlake (Hartgerink) and David Oliphant and his 'Masked Marauders'!! We have applied the below rules and restrictions that have been introduced by the Public Health from Monday, 21st December. - One person per four square metre rule introduced in all indoor settings - A cap of 300 people will apply for hospitality venues ... - Singing and chanting at indoor venues will not be allowed - Dancefloors will not be permitted, except for weddings, when a maximum of 20 from the bridal party will be permitted #covidsafe
