24.01.2022 For most, goal setting is not a foreign concept and although it may seem pointless, when aiming for lifestyle changes, setting goals are a great tool as it gives you something to refer back to throughout your journey to remember 'why' you started in the first place. Set aside 5 minutes of your day and determine your 'what', 'why' and 'how'. What do you want to achieve? Why do you want to achieve this? And more importantly, how will you achieve these goals? On those days wher...e motivation or willpower may be lacking, refer back to these goals. Next time a negative thought comes to mind, take a few moments and really think about why you are thinking that way and whether it is actually true / how you feel? For example, next time you get upset if you believe you are not seeing any results, are you feeling stronger? Do you feel healthier? Are you making better choices, allowing you to live a healthy lifestyle?... Next time you think that your journey towards reaching your goals is too hard, give yourself some credit! Your body is stronger than you realise, push through the mental barrier and reflect on what you have already achieved. Telling yourself that you don't have enough time to train or eat healthy? Make time! All you need is 30 minutes each day and learn how to prioritise your health and fitness. Every little bit of movement counts. Eating healthy is too boring? 18.01.2022 When it comes to meal prepping, you either love it or hate it! Whilst it can feel like such a chore, it really does make your life easier during the working week as you have all of your meals readily available for you. There are many approaches towards meal prepping, whether you prefer prepping for the entire week and freezing meals, prepping for a few days at a time or even food - prepping, where you prep the food (i.e. cook chicken and prepare potato but don't assemble into... meals) so that you have the option to change the meals (whether you have a salad one day and stir-fry the next). Meal prepping can definitely make life easier and assist in reaching your fitness goals as it allows you to stay on track - especially for those who are time poor. Do you tend to meal-prep? 12.01.2022 Who doesn't love a summer dessert? Traditionally, panna cotta is a cold Italian dessert made with double cream. However, this yoghurt variation is a healthier, lighter version! Try it out for yourself and let us know what you think! 1 cup milk 1 cup natural yoghurt 1 and 1/4 teaspoons powdered gelatine (measure this very accurately)... 100 ml warm water - In a cup, sprinkle the gelatine over 100 ml of warm water and let it soak for 5 minutes. - In the meantime, bring the milk to the boil on medium heat. Remove from the heat. - Using a spoon, stir the gelatine and water mixture. - Spoon the gelatine mixture into the hot milk and whisk quickly to dissolve the gelatine - Leave mixture to cool (roughly 15 minutes) - When cool, whisk in the yoghurt - Pour mixture into 4 individual dariole moulds and cover with cling wrap - Place in fridge overnight or for at least 3 hours - Serve with fresh berries (or whatever fruit is desired) and maple syrup

The options are endless when it comes to overnight oats, but why not try our chocolate berry version below. 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1/2 cup greek yoghurt ... 1/2 cup water (you could also try coconut water) 1-2 tablespoons chocolate protein powder (optional) 1 tablespoon cacao powder (if not using chocolate flavoured protein) Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. 04.01.2022 Prawns on Christmas day is a staple for most Aussies! Do you prefer to eat your prawns plain or cooked on the BBQ? Have a go at this delicious BBQ prawn recipe this Christmas! Butterflied prawns with chilli and coriander 24 large green prawns (raw)... 60ml oil (coconut or virgin) 2 garlic cloves 1 tbs grated ginger Zest and juice of 1/2 lemon 1 bunch coriander finely chopped 1. Butterfly the prawns (along the back) - remove all veins and legs but leave the head in tact 2. Combine the oil, chilli, garlic, ginger, lemon zest and juice with salt and pepper. Add the prawns and toss. 3. Heat BBQ (grill) to high, place prawns shell side down for 6 minutes (or until just cooked) 4.
