The children at Carlisle Park Kindergarten have made a book of 'dresses' for an elderly resident, who in turn has made a sun-catcher that the children have hung in the playroom so that 'when it shines the kinder friends can think of her'. Studies have shown that inter generational relationships can help children build their responsibility, patience, and empathy and at the same time the members of the olde...r generation feel a sense of belonging and usefulness.
