02.01.2022 For 38 years Derek Johns has been playing the trumpet and bugle at remembrance services around our district. He started while he was a student at Orange Public ...School. It’s a lifetime of dedication to Australia’s service men and women. It was a privilege to chat with him after this morning’s Last Post, where I found out the story behind the bugle he only plays on ANZAC Day. Thank you Derek for all you’ve done and continue to do. Our communities are very grateful. Lest We Forget
