Council House enjoys the highest level of state heritage protection - even the T-shaped design on the carpet is protected. The circular exterior of the room includes original ‘cruciform’ features, and the room is known by it’s Nyoongar name Briyda, meaning ‘Boss Room’. State Library of Western Australia
