18.01.2022 A BIT OF REGRETTABLE NEWS FROM THE CITY ROUSEABOUT Unfortunately, due to sudden severe ill health, a decision has been made to park The City Rouseabout’s ute under a shady tree for a while. Recent cancer diagnosis and required pre-surgery chemotherapy, surgery and consequent recovery will require me to stop working for a period of about 9 months.... While this is extremely disappointing, the time off is necessary for me to be able to return and provide the professional, personal service I have been able to provide to my valued clients. I would like to take this opportunity to thank past and current clients for allowing The City Rouseabout to carry out the work for you. To keep everyone up to date with my treatment and progress, I will be updating my Website blog and The City Rouseabout Facebook page regularly.

17.01.2022 Wow what a year! Mary and I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing support during what was a tough 2019. My cancer diagnosis in early January definitely changed the course of the year. The great news is with the help of an amazing medical team the future will be fantastic. As indicated earlier in the year, due to the significant impact on my body, I have had to park the handyman side of the business under a shady tree. This was a hard but essential decision as I enjoy...ed helping my clients with their maintenance needs. The good news is that THE CITY ROUSEABOUT as a business will still be seen. it is envisaged that late 2020 will see THE CITY ROUSEABOUT morph into an exciting new entity that will once again be able to help businesses into the future. STAY TUNED. Mary and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to a fantastic 2020.

17.01.2022 Dear "The City Rouseabout " Clients, followers, suppliers and friends. As you would be aware I was dealt a savage blow earlier this year with a cancer diagnosis. After 5 months of chemo , surgery was performed where a large tumour was removed and my internals were rearranged.... Due to the size of tumour, extent of internal rearrangement and the need for future chemo, I have had to make some life decisions. It is now becoming more apparent that my body and life will change. After much soul searching , discussions with doctors, physios and my wife, Mary. It has been decided to fully shut down the handyman/rouseabout side of The City Rouseabout. This is indeed dissapointing as with your support we had built up a very successful business and 2019 was looking to be huge. While the Handyman/Rouseabout side of the business is being shutdown, we are looking at introducing "The City Rouseabout" brand to another market in the future.(Keep tuned.)
