21.01.2022 It's official! Nillumbik have decided they are NOT Working for Victoria as they moved to stand down their School Crossing Supervisors today. These Crossing Supervisors are paid at a very low rate and many of them rely on this employment to keep their families fed, clothed and housed. Shame Nillumbik, Shame on you.

16.01.2022 In this day and age there are many forces trying to ensure workers are divided. Any leader knows that in order to defeat a bigger enemy you divide them. There are dark forces at work within the union movement in Australia at all times, there always have been scabs and scab organisations trying to undermine unionised workforces with support of the bosses. You know when these scab organisations are scabs as it is often revealed that they are supported by and given 'favours' by... the bosses, allowed to enter workplaces to speak with workers in the same way unions (who have fought battles for these rights) speak to workers. Be warned, even though these people may have been associated with unions, (often these people are former organisers) or appear to 'talk the talk' they are nothing more than snakes, trying to divide the solidarity between workers in order to drive wages and conditions down in conjunction with the bosses. (This is always done sneakily and hard to prove, but easily seen). Some of these same sorts of sneaky forces loosely associated with unions (in concert with management) in the retail industry did this a couple of decades ago. We now see penalty rates slashed and exploitation of young people in these industries as a result nowadays. If you see it happening in your workplace let your REAL union know. You will find that these scab unions are not really unions, they are only after your money and will leave you in the lurch as soon as the shit hits the fan. Be alert and be aware. Ask your union if they are associated with the VTHC or the ACTU or are registered as a union. If they are not, you are being conned.
