06.01.2022 SHARE THE DIGNITY DRIVE This November in Melbourne, our members are participating in the Share the Dignity charity drive which works to supply essential items to end period poverty and make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or doing it tough. The COVID pandemic has hit a lot of people hard and this is a small way that we can contribute to making their lives a little easier.... Share the Dignity ask people to put together bags (new, or used but in good condition) containing essential items, (shampoo, conditioner, body wash/soap, sealed sanitary items, toothpaste and toothbrush, roll on deodorant) and if they like, a small gift (notepad and pen, lip gloss, mini perfume). More information on the initiative can be found at https://www.sharethedignity.org.au/ Donations will be accepted in Melbourne until November 27th. If you would like to contribute but aren't in Melbourne, get in touch with Scarlett from the Civil Air Culture Team via [email protected] to find out how you can support the initiative.
