The scope of works for the Carnegie and Victoria Drive Footbridges comprised of the design, supply and installation of two clear span steel pedestrian bridges being a minimum of 2.5m wide. The civil works component included associated path linkages and abutments including the demolition and disposal of the existing two footbridges. ... The scope of works included site preliminaries and establishment; erection and dismantle of temporary structures including overpass footings, ramps pedestrian overpasses, super screens, pit straight, chicane, hairpin, concert arena and over-track areas. The works also included the removal and reinstatement of kerbing, existing signage, gates, seats and bollards and other sundries throug...hout the course of the event; construction of a fuel bund for the removal and storage of bulk fuel; installation and compaction of SCP spreader bars; significant traffic control including closures of lanes, roads; removal and reinstatement of the Brittania Roundabout; asphalt surface paint marking pre and post event; race track preparation including gravel traps, removal and disposal of vegetation; green line marking and application of degadur. 19.01.2022 Working in partnership with the Council, heritage advisor and engineering consultants OPUS, Civil Tech undertook the replacement of the 55m long heritage listed swing bridge in late 2017. The existing plywood and steel bridge was carefully demolished and replaced with a new structure comprising of a light-weight plastic decking on a CFT substructure, hung from two 48mm steel cables. Civil Tech undertook design and construction of the composite pier-and-pad footings at each e...nd, encompassing over 25m3 reinforced concrete in each abutment. The Walkerville side abutment was particularly challenging, being founded nearly 4m below adjacent road level, on a steep riverside embankment. Civil Tech worked closely with the other stakeholders to resolve the finer details of fencing, balustrades and stairs, delivering the project in time for a formal public opening in early January 2018.

11.01.2022 During the winter months, construction of 200m of bank stabilisation on the edge of the River Torrens at Hackney, including reinstatement of linear trail bike path commenced. The scope of works included the site establishment; location and protection of all existing services and infrastructure (above and below ground level); dilapidation survey of site; traffic management and traffic control; control and minimization of all construction nuisances (noise, odour, traffic, dus...t, vibration and others), submission of construction management plan, JSAs, environmental management plan, safety plan, lifting plan; construction of temporary security fencing (around construction sites, laydown areas, etc); soil erosion and drainage management; earthworks including excavation and compaction; loose rock beaching; grouted rock ramp construction; path relocation and reinstatement; installation of gabions; tree protection; tree removal; installation of erosion control matting; clean-up of the site including the removal and disposal of surplus spoil; reinstatement of upper garden beds to existing surface levels and removal of all debris from the site. 11.01.2022 Civil Tech Pty Ltd was recruited to redevelop the very visually pleasing Port Hughes Boat Ramp. The scope of works included a new launching area, rock dredging and raising of existing breakwaters, excavation of the harbour, construction of stone breakwaters, construction of boat ramp, construction of wharf all within a five month period. The Port Hughes Boat Ramp was proudly opened to the public as of the 14th of September 2017.
