25.01.2022 Be careful at your work Xmas party!!
25.01.2022 I have been working from home for nearly 7 years now however with so many of my meetings now by phone or video I needed to create a change. So the stand up desk is fully elevated for a while, accompanied by a high chair - feels like a new office outlook

24.01.2022 Love the idea of a "designed alliance" conversation. What other strategies have you used to assist in having difficult workplace conversations?

09.01.2022 "Assuming that the purpose of your argument is to change minds, rather than to signal your own superiority, you are much more likely to achieve your aims by arg...uing gently and kindly rather than belligerently, and affirming your respect for the person, even if you are telling them some hard truths." 07.01.2022 Whilst working in the public sector I often worked from home on major reports etc to be free from distractions. For the past 6 years I have primarily worked "remotely" from the home office. There are definitely some great benefits to this as well as factors that need to be taken into account, particularly social isolation. I am currently working for a client who has a permanent team member working from interstate - her team has a large monitor set up in their open plan office which projects her working at her desk and she can also see / interact with the team, almost as if she was there!
06.01.2022 2 polar opposite views of the impact of technology on the workforce #AHRINC
03.01.2022 Food for thought - has anyone been in this situation? What was the result?
01.01.2022 Instead of complaining, maybe it's time for a change:
