16.01.2022 Although the weather hadn't cleared from the previous day, I ventured onward, a little bit past Kyoto to Ryan-ji to visit the Ryoanji Temple and Rock Garden. The pictures do not do this place justice.

15.01.2022 Made my way to Miyajima Island today to check out the Tori gate near the Istukushima Shrine. Took the ferry a whole of 10mins! All covered under the JR Pass. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Japan to get a JR Pass. They pay for themselves more than once!

15.01.2022 Last weekend, I was out and about taking photos of 2 awesome families. These 2 are twin sisters, but are both very different. Both families were fun and happy and it was a pleasure taking their photos. The free photoshoots are all done and dusted for now. 09.01.2022 On my last photography day in Japan, I decided to visit Iwakuni and see the Kintai-kyo Bridge. It's an amazing place. Very quiet (apart from the normal noise you get from so many people being in one area). This time I decided to take the cable car (Ropeway) up the mountain instead of trying to climb it...which I'm pretty sure is near impossible to do. The view from the top was amazing. You could almost see all the way to Miyajima!

07.01.2022 After visiting Ryan-ji, I made my way farther in land towards Kka (sometimes pronounce Kga), the birthplace of Ninja. Ever since I was a child watching the 3 Ninja movies, I have wanted to be a ninja. Visiting this small town (of which the Grandfather in the films is from) made my childhood vision seem that much closer. I had planned on visiting the Ninja Village...but time was against me and it had closed by the time I arrived. This is an amazing town and I recommend it to anyone who can get to it

It is surrounded by cats that come and go as they please and they even have Bonsai on display. I wish I had time to explore the castle more. 04.01.2022 Built in 1673, the Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni spans across the Nishiki river...this thing is amazing. When you get from one side to the other, there is a little town filled with food stalls and souvenir shops. Looking at the bridge itself, it looks like it was built yesterday! Looking over the bridge itself...as can be seen in the middle of this shot...is the Iwakuni Castle...watch this space for more shots of the castle. #japan #kintaibridge #iwakuni #woodenbridge #nikon @visitjapanau
