24.01.2022 One step closer to a new Swan Hill Bridge. We have the 4B option that hasn't progressed in 50 years. We have a gazetted 9a option which would ruin Riverside Park and finish on a T intersection. We now have a new McCallum Street alignment, an alignment that was never assessed in 2009 as the bridge is Heritage Listed in NSW and too difficult to deal with. That's now close to being removed if it isn't already.... NSW Transport are leading the public consultation on the communities preference in a project that involves VicRoads, Victorian and NSW State and Local Governments as well as the Federal Government who have already committed $60 million to a new Swan Hill Bridge. Please join and have your say on the future bridge. https://yoursay.transport.nsw.gov.au/hys-swan-hill

17.01.2022 The Lake Boga Water Ski Club would like to welcome the community to the ski club foreshore (right next door to Boo’s) to watch some big, fast, loud boats and incredible skiers compete in the point score series event. Plenty to see and do around the region this weekend, add this to the list. Come one come all. Family Friendly Fun

11.01.2022 I'm seeking your support to continue having a younger voice representing our municipality. The last four years have been a rewarding, challenging and awesome opportunity. We've seen great progress made to improving the services and infrastructure across our municipality. Like everything we do in life, we succeed, we make a lot of good decisions, the occasional bad one and we learn from them. I still have the passion and desire to be a leader in our community and keep our Coun...cil moving forward and supporting our communities. Below are some of the priorities that I will be working towards as a Councillor if re-elected. Elections are being conducted by postal vote (official election date is 23rd October 2020).. 1 A Pro-development Council - but not at any cost. An inviting Council creating opportunities for investment in our Municipality, with every opportunity assessed on it's merits. We need to keep growing. 2 Continue to advocate landholders of approved zoned land to develop for housing. Rental demands are at the highest they've ever been. We need more land developed for more housing. 3Supporting and advocating for investment in objectives identified in the Robinvale Housing Strategy. 3 Continue advocating Victorian State Government to allow more rural lifestyle blocks in our municipality, in appropriate locations. 4 Ensure that priority projects in our masterplans for sporting centres, recreation reserves, swimming pools and leisure centres are funded fairly and equitably across our municipality and with government funding. 5Continued support and investment in Swan Hill Rural City Council's Youth Support Program Youth and NOVO Youth Council, linking with support service providers, schools and community groups to meet objective in Youth Strategy 2020-2025. 6 Support opportunities to implement landing fee charges at Swan Hill and Robinvale Aerodromes to deter ongoing circuit training by visiting flight school operators. 7 Working with Community Groups to renew their Community Plans in 2021 with priority projects for future investment and growth. Please give your support by sharing and Vote 1 Chris Jeffery. Authorised by Chris Jeffery. 13 Notting Road, Swan Hill, Vic, 3585
