12.01.2022 Lately I have been thinking a lot about what makes a good photo. Its so often that a clients favourite image is totally different to mine, my choice based on my own experience in taking the shot and the skills required behind it. Is it in focus? Is it framed nicely? Is the light nice? Does it create an emotional response? Over time I have realised that being technically correct is not the deciding factor between what is or isnt a good image. I look back on my favour...ite family photos and it is obvious that they are not based on the skill of the photographer. Some are blurry, tilted, a bit rough around the edges.... but its the moment it captured that makes it my favourite. So I ask my past couples: what is your favourite wedding photo and why? Post it and tag me so I can see. I bet Ill be surprised, and Im completely intrigued to hear the reasons behind your choice.
