23.01.2022 Move-a-thon lap practice Our kindergarten children are in training for our annual Move-a-thon when they complete ten laps of an obstacle course! They are getting themselves into peak condition as they practice going around and around an obstacle course. As the children practise, we see the confidence in their motor skills grow as does their enthusiasm for accepting this challenge.

09.01.2022 We celebrated Diwali last week which is also known as the "festival of lights". We learnt about this celebration and did some activates that celebrated Diwali.



08.01.2022 Today we welcomed Claudine she brought some reptiles for us to get up close and personal with. We had the opportunity to touch the animal to see if they had hard, soft, silk, or skin, and scales. This provided the children with a hands-on wildlife experience.

07.01.2022 Celebrating NADIOC week.......Today we painted the Aboriginal and Tores Strait Islander flag onto the children's hands., This gave us an opportunity to talk to the children about the Aboriginal Culture and flag and what the colours of the flag meant. It also gave us an opportunity to talk to the children about how the Aboriginal people and how they are connected to the land.
