21.01.2022 If any of you are in Cairns this Friday 26th Feb or looking for something fun to do with the kids there is a Lantern Festival on at the Esplanade Lagoon 5.30pm-7.30pm The Djama and Bundarra children have been exploring Chinese New Year and making lanterns so it will be a nice extension of their learning!

19.01.2022 Djama Group - We have been interested in learning about snakes since one of our little friends bought in her pet snake for show and tell. We even measured the skin of a snake today with the measuring tape, we counted 2 metres/30 cms

13.01.2022 In week four the Bundarra children were more settled. Friendships are begining to form and we are having lots of fun playing and learning together. A donation of bubble juice from our bubble-ologist mum Bugsy was an absolute hit with the children! We had our riverbed hand pump installed and the children enjoyed watching the water flow and freeing blockages by moving rocks. We also had a friend of Kindy, Ms Jennifer, visit and teach us all about Chinese New Year - thank you Ms Jennifer for the time you spent with us!

10.01.2022 Monday - Djama Group We practised our scissors cutting this morning, we made Chinese lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year

03.01.2022 Tuesday - Djama Group Today it was all about the gingerbread man We collaged our very own gingerbread man to take home and also we made our very own gingerbread man to eat.
