23.01.2022 Hi Everyone Well it looks like the 2021 Warwick Show is going ahead this year and that means the Emerging Photographers Awards is on. What the comp involves:... You will compile a 20 image photo essay covering this years show theme Sustainability. You will need to present your submission on a USB stick which will not be returned. You will be required to pay a $10 entry fee upon finalising your registration, a week before the show begins this fee will gain you 3 days entry into the show, it goes towards covering the cost of the awards presentation, professional judging and prizes. No profit will be made from your entry fee by either C & K Photographers or the Warwick Show Society. The winner will have their name engraved on the perpetual trophy which is on display at the Warwick Show Office year round. There will be prizes to be won, feedback received if you would like it, an afternoon presentation after the entries have been judged. This is a wonderful opportunity for all amateur photographers of all ages wanting to step outside of their comfort zone and gain new experiences with their cameras. This year will be a Camera only competition, no mobile phones. You will need to have the knowledge or assistance to transfer your images onto a USB and they need to be in hi resolution ie: can be enlarged and or printed well. Your 20 images while remaining your work, copyrighted to you, will then be able to be used by the Warwick Show Society in the future as reference to the 2021 show. We are currently in the process of putting together the application paperwork and hope to have it all good to go by this coming weekend. We’d love to max out the entries this year so if you are interested in participating please send us a reply email requesting an entry form and we’ll get it to you ASAP.

We urge our followers to share information about this fantastic new event that showcases... not only our wonderful artists but our beautiful countryside as well. On both days of the trail you can book in for workshops or just enjoy driving from one studio to the next getting to know the artists while they work and explore the towns of Allora, Deuchar, Freestone and Loch Lomond along the way. Immerse yourself in some cool public art in Warwick, Killarney and Leyburn. Spend time viewing our two local exhibitions here at Warwick Art Gallery "Interconnection" by Warwick Artist Group and "The Cherry on Top" by Jayde Clacy. Be enchanted by emerging Warwick artist Sue Hamlet's colourful paintings as she works in the Gallery studio. It is going to be a fabulous weekend. 06.01.2022 Up at stupid o’clock this morning in the hunt for a beautiful sunrise... froze our little tootsies off so went in search for a warm brekky and a hot coffee... found just what we were looking for at Killarney Country Diner... what beautiful friendly service and a scrumptious breakfast we had... they are open till 2pm on a Sunday so why not take a drive and pay them a visit.. 10/10

04.01.2022 Hi all, We are working on getting back out and about. Couple more tweeks to the camper trailer and we will be ready to get out there taking images of the great country around us and lots more. Hopefully by the end of August.
