23.01.2022 BP your customer service is a joke. On hold for 30mins to be disconnected. To call back and be on hold for over an hour, and still waiting... I would not recommend their service for fuel cards. We have had on going issues on our account since August 2020 that are still unresolved and we can’t even shut down the account.!

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Victoria and the rest of the world. We just wanted to reach out and touch base that although we are much safer here, we have not let our guard down.... We still have our protective measures in place ensuring we continue to focus on the health and well being of our team, our family and our community. This is our still our PRIORITY. We don't feel that we need to be asking the below questions at each and every job as we are sure we all know this off by heart! We are still asking our Plumbers who are feeling unwell with a cold or flu like symptoms to seek medical advice and stay away from work until they are deemed to be safe to re-enter the workforce. Each Plumber has been provided with their own PPE (personal protective equipment). All vehicles are stocked with industrial hand cleaner, hand sanitiser and disinfectant spray and wipe, chux wipes to clean & disinfect after each job & their vehicle. Along with promoting regular hand washing and good respiratory hygiene. And of course social distancing as much as possible. 16.01.2022 Quick Tip Tuesday Avoid the horror of a blocked toilet! Flushing your toilet, only to find the water rising back towards you is not something you want to see! So, to reduce the risk of a blocked toilet there are certain things you never flush....... Baby/face wipes Unlike toilet paper, baby/face wipes are not made to break down when wet, so they don’t disintegrate and can cause a blockage. Even ‘flushable’ wipes don’t break down so avoid flushing any type of wipe. (thanks Covid!) Cotton wool balls & pads Just like wipes, these don’t break down and can swell, causing a blockage. Sanitary products These will expand if you flush them and are a sure-fire way to block your toilet. Kitchen paper & napkins You might think that kitchen paper is just like toilet paper, but it’s used to absorb spills in your kitchen and soak up water. They become heavy and difficult for your system to remove. Food Don’t flush leftover food down the toilet as it won’t break down quickly enough. Fats and oils Yes, some people actually flush fats and oils down the toilet. As soon as fats hit the cold water, they solidify and can cause a fat blockage. If you do experience a blocked toilet, don’t keep flushing to try and clear it. A traditional storage gas water heater should last for 10-12 years, but there are things you can do to extend its life. This picture is a perfect example of a sacrificial anode in your tank. The rod on the right is a new anode, the other is a corroded anode. An Anode is designed to protect the tank from the natural...ly occurring chemicals in the water. The rod sacrifices itself instead of the tank being corroded. Pretty cool hey! If you have this anode replaced every 5 years, along with an annual service, your gas storage heater could last for an extra 5-10 years. 04.01.2022 Unfortunately this unsuspecting home owner moved in to there new house with a freshly renovated bathroom and just weeks later came home to a flood! Upon further investigation it was found that all the pipework within the bathroom was completed by a handyman and they had used illegal compression fittings in the wall which had leaked causing damage throughout. That’s why it is always wise to use the right person for the job! In this case a licensed plumber.... Ck vella plumbing to the rescue! We were able to rectify all the issues within the house and get repair work under way for this lovely client of ours so they can now rest easy knowing there plumbing has been completed correctly
