Smoke alarms save lives, by Law each home must have smoke alarm(s) installed and working. A lot of people dont know that smoke alarms are only valid for 10 years and must be replaced if exceeded.... RCD saftey switches are law in all NEW homes on power and lighting circuits, but soon to be law on all circuits. We highly reccomend the upgrading of circuit breakers and porcelain fuses to RCD protection as they save lives against electrical faults and fires, not just the cable like the old protection.
