16.01.2022 What a beautiful day to host the remaining child-guide Get to Know You meetings Lauren arrived this morning with some beautiful items to add to our spaces. Not only do our salt lamps create a calm ambience, they are said to have many health benefits. We are enjoying choosing all of the bits and pieces to enhance the indoor learning spaces. 15.01.2022 Today Lauren and Andy met with individual children for a 'Get to Know You' meeting. They asked questions related to the children's interests, strengths and areas they would like to focus on. They also looked at multiple intelligence statement cards. The guides will use this information to deepen their understanding of the children as learners. Another aim of these meetings is to foster connection and strengthen relationships. Andy and Lauren are looking forward to meeting with the rest of the children tomorrow. Meanwhile Beth and I have had a COMPASS training day to learn our School Management System. 15.01.2022 I cannot believe it is Friday already! 14.01.2022 My heart feels so full This morning we had an outdoor play date up at the school. This was the first time families have been onsite since our renovations began For some of our families it was the first time they have been onsite at all It was so wonderful connecting with our families and watching the children explore the space. What a quote to start the day with We reflected on many elements of our roles as educators, parents, partners and colleagues.
