18.01.2022 I just witnessed a very inspiring and clever child author present to children her own age. 10 year old Elliena Escott with her published story The New Fish in the Fish Tank. It reminded me to allow our kids to chase their dreams no matter their age!

13.01.2022 Tonight I'm cutting and glueing....preparations for some workshops I'm running tomorrow at a Gold Coast school. We'll be using my book 'So Many Sounds' and some other visuals to do some fun writing activities. My teacher heart is beating excitedly :)

07.01.2022 Is your child or a child you know completely disinterested in reading? Obviously the types of books you're exposing them to will effect this, but for some it's just a general dislike. How about gift a book to a friend or family member, or leave a book in a waiting room to entertain another patient/client or donate one of your faves to a library, school or organisation.
