13.01.2022 Enjoying some beautiful Spring goodness this afternoon Even though we’ve had some incredible Spring days it takes a lot of energy to just get myself and the girls out some days! I definitely feel better when I do but it has been hard. I’m really getting over it all now and I definitely feel the same vibes with my fellow Victorians. Especially my poor friends in Melbourne. Thank you to all of my amazing clients for being patient with me as I try and make sense of the restr...ictions and what’s to come. I’ve called the Covid hotline and it seems I may not be able to do sessions again until late October however this could change. I will update you guys if I hear anything else. 12.01.2022 Family stories can be told nearly anywhere. They cost us only our time, our memories, our creativity. They can inspire us, protect us, and bind us to others. So be generous with your stories, and be generous in your stories. Remember that your children may have them for a lifetime. I was always in awe of my family photographs in our home growing up. I couldn’t tell you the number of times I would flick through every page in every family album we had. I’d dissect each image... wondering who took the photo, how old I was in the photo, how old my parents were, what on earth they were thinking when they chose that 70s style wallpaper and carpet.. This year more than ever there needs to be more awareness and support to those who need it. Covid has meant that both suicide and mental health issues have sky rocketed. 07.01.2022 I love this moment between Tameeka & Luka When I brought my first daughter home from hospital it was so incredibly amazing however equally frightening and overwhelming. I’ll never forget that feeling of complete and utter love paired with omg I have another human to look after for the rest of my life. ... I had a challenging birth and was trying to recover myself as well as look after a teeny tiny baby that I felt all she did was cry. I am sure so many parents can relate to these feelings. Looking back now it’s all a bit of a blur however even though memories like that bring up so many different emotions I love looking back at photographs during that time as even though some memories can be hard they are still things that are part of our story and that I cherish.
