21.01.2022 Cape 2 Cape. Day 3&4.

09.01.2022 DAY 2 courtesy of Woodvale Physiotherapy Centre & Perth Cycling Solutions gym facility. #22pushups22days4ourmilitary Day 1 of 22 push-up challenge completed! 22 push-ups a day for 22 days to raise awareness for combat veterans. 22 vets a day are committing suicide. It's tragic and we need to help.... I was nominated by Maree Tubb. Thanks Maree. Today, I nominate Neil Thorpe. If you would like to join in Like & share our page to be nominated. According to Queensland-based charity, Walking Wounded, since 1999, 49 Australian soldiers have been killed while on active duty, 239 Australian veterans have taken their own lives. (Published February 2016.) And unfortunately PTSD doesn't stop with our Defence Forces, It's tragic and we need to help. The rules are simple: * Once you are nominated your 22 days starts the following day * Every day you record yourself doing 22 push-ups, try your best to reach 22. If that means doing assisted (from your knees) push-ups or that you have to stop and take a break, that's fine but try to get them all done in one video. * Every day you must nominate a different person, try to choose people you think will want to do this and/or have the ability to do it. * And finally, have fun with this! This is a simple and fun way to get the word out about a matter that more people need to be aware about. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms only to get out and feel lost. It's sad that so many good veterans feel that suicide is the only way out.

03.01.2022 GOOD LUCK to all our lovely patients & Friends of Woodvale Physiotherapy centre who are taking part in the City To Surf on Sunday. Don't forget to warm up gradually at the start of the run & take time to stretch after the run. This will assist in avoiding post race muscle soreness. Those of you who have been given 'special advice & instructions', you know who you are. Appointments available next week if all is not well.....
