19.01.2022 Wow, what a big week for Bird Bingo. Thank you so much to all that played! If you missed out, you can still play whenever you like in your garden or down the creek. Collectively we saw Magpies, Silver Gulls, Rainbow Lorikeets, Pardalotes, Tawny Frogmouths, Red Wattle Birds, Wood Ducks, Rock Doves, Dusky Moorhens, Kookaburras, Galahs, Noisy Minors, Crimson Rosellas, Butcher Birds, Red Rumped Parrots, Magpie Larks, Superb Fairy Wrens, Willy Wag Tails, Crested Pigeons, Sparrow...s, and Eastern Spinebills. Plus an honourable mention to those who spotted Wedge Tailed Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Choughs, Grey Strikes Thrushes, Grass Parrots, Rosellas, Spoon Bill, Ibises, New Holland Honey Eaters, Pied Currawongs, Ravens, Chesnut Teals, White Plumed Honey Eaters, Eastern Rosellas, Australasian Grebes, Starlings, Blackbirds, Eurasian Sparrow Hawks and I am sure many more If you want to play your own bird bingo head to my website!
16.01.2022 Every time I go for a walk I see and hear something different in nature. New flowers, tiny bugs, unusual bird calls, bumpy leaves... For the month of August, I will be sharing invitations of things to notice in your garden, in your street or local creek! All ages welcome. Tag @clairemosleyart on your findings, share with your friends. ... On the last day of August I’ll be gifting some recent art such as notebooks and tea towels to 3 random participants. 11.01.2022 In March I was lucky enough to be part of an exhibition at the Darebin Arts Centre. My work was along side, my long time friend and art companion Edie. The painting "Platypus Of Darebin" was a homage to Platypus and the colour pink. Spend time outside, listen, watch. This is the time to learn about our local places.
