14.01.2022 This is pretty consistent with what has always been reported over the twenty years I've been in our industry. Technology (or lack of in an organisation) usually also rates a mention but think that work/life balance - particularly in cities like Sydney where the commute can be a nightmare - will become a bigger reason why people will leave. I've been rolling out a huge training project over the past 18 months and when I was doing this full time the company I'm consulting to let me work from home two days a week. With a little one at home this made such an impact on my decision to keep renewing my contract with them.
13.01.2022 Personally I think all applicants to a job deserve a respectful response whether they get to interview stage or not.
11.01.2022 One of the first times I've ever seen an article about this. Not getting back to candidates is something that really bugs me about the recruitment industry, especially when it's so easy to do so with all the technology available. Good article Greg!
