21.01.2022 It’s time for double rainbow excitement today! Our new single origin Finca Genesis from Honduras hits the shelves and with it we’re releasing our revamped 400g coffee bags. We’d love to hear from you what you think about the new look. Finca Genesis has a hint of golden syrup at first which turns into a sweet array of orange, honey, pear and dark chocolate as it cools and comes alive. This coffee is produced by a small family farm in the Santa Barbara region run by an ind...ependent farmer Roberto Belarmino Contreras Rodriguez. It is a great example of what Honduras coffee has to offer if you’ve never tasted one. Visit us in the cafe or Shop Online Now https://www.clandestino.com.au/product/finca-genesis/

16.01.2022 We're opening The Cube again! From next week, we’re bringing our barista courses back with a few changes. We hope that they will make you feel safe while getting back on the tools. https://www.clandestino.com.au/coffee-courses/... What is new? Reduced number of participants Maximum of 2 people can attend the courses to follow the social distancing guidelines. If you feel more comfortable with 1 on 1 course, send us a message to [email protected] to arrange a booking. All equipment will be disinfected After each course, we thoroughly clean the whole space and disinfect all the gear that was used. Your health and safety is our priority. New hand washing stations We’ve installed a hand washing station that we’ll encourage the participants to use before, during and after each course. Safe entry to the Cube The Cube has its own entry from the back of the building with limited access to public. Once you’re in, you can learn without any disturbance. If you’re feeling unwell, please don’t come in and cancel your booking at least 24 hours ahead. Our trainer Aubrey is looking forward to teach you all about coffee! See more

06.01.2022 We don’t often re-release beans but Goulala is special for so many reasons! https://www.clandestino.com.au/product/goulala/ East Timor has a long coffee history but suffered greatly during the Indonesian occupation and political turmoil. So close to Australia, we feel deeply connected to its people and their fate. Goulala is a washed coffee produced by 30 family farms in the township organised by two guerrilla heroes Manuel da Costa Silva and Señor Domingos Sarmento (swipe... to meet them). Together with our friend @roaster_jase from @sucafina, we’re supporting the producers to work towards a common goal: a better cup and economic sustainability. The fresh lot has blown us away with sweet notes of black plum, swiss chocolate, bush honey and blood orange. Snag a bag before we run out (again). Now available on the menu and online.

02.01.2022 Greetings from Colombia! Clandestino Coffee founder Jaxon Taylor has spent last days cupping coffee submissions for the Best of Cauca festival and auction. This event celebrates local farmers and encourages them to grow coffee along other crops by getting them exposure to new markets. Thank you @trabocca for this opportunity to meet so many passionate farmers from this region in person. A little spoiler: we were able to secure two of these great coffees which are coming home with us. We’re looking forward to sharing them with you! #caucabestcup2020 @ Comite De Cafeteros Del Cauca
