20.01.2022 Part of a tree down in the newly planted area. Bit of chainsaw work coming up.

17.01.2022 Please feel free to use the wetlands gardens as a seed bank (within reason). Enchylaena tomentosa is easy to grow from seed, is an attractive plant to have in a native garden, and even has edible berries.

06.01.2022 The lignum bushes keep on growing. When will they stop. I remember seeing the plants in the Murray swamps, but not sure I ever saw them this size. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duma_florulenta

04.01.2022 Mistletoe blooming in the Wetlands.

03.01.2022 Yes, it can be done by Not For Profits when all levels of government fail to respond to a community need...

01.01.2022 I don't think that there is a pop-up library in Clare. Maybe we could put one in the wetlands? Or just inside the gate at the end of Christison Avenue? Or somewhere else around town. The photo is of the pup-up library at Crystal Brook. It seems to work well. I've used it quite a bit.
