25.01.2022 In all the craziness I had forgotten to share my exciting news!! I entered a handful of images in the Portrait Masters (an international accreditation program) and all came back with a high professional standard and bronze badges!! Feeling very pleased with my efforts and inspired to be a bit more creative during this current downtime :-)

24.01.2022 Here is today's recipe/activity...microwave playdough. I know flour is a little difficult to come by at the moment but if you have some, this might be a great use for it. 14.01.2022 It's been a tough couple of weeks...not going to lie, and looks like the potential of more ahead. So much has changed and is changing everyday. So been looking at how I can support and contribute to the community around me. Not sure if you're all aware but I have quite a bit of early education knowledge, so, while I'm trying to figure out and find a way to continue my photography business, I thought I would like to share some fun activities for you to share with your children (young and old) to keep them engaged, learning and most importantly busy :-) Hope you're all having a lovely afternoon. 13.01.2022 I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Looking through my FB feed it looks like lots of spring cleaning and gardening went on...very productive! Hopefully you've found some things you'd forgotten you had in your stash to create fun craft with. So, on that note, here is a little activity you might like to add to your day. 10.01.2022 Okay, so we know sometimes a little device distraction is used for parent sanity or just to be able to get an important job done quickly. So here is a useful feature you may or may not know about if you have an iDevice...this may be available on other brands so worth checking (please let us know). Do you know about Guided Access? This is a great feature which means you can open an app and be certain that your child is only accessing that app while they are using the device. I...t is also really useful for turning an iPad into a light box to trace drawings, the number one use around here for my children :-) They love it, as it disables the moving screen when they are moving their hand over the screen, stops the swipe. Please do be careful though when using it like this, make sure you're using a screen protector and that your child is old enough to understand not to press too hard on the screen...soft pencils!!
