21.01.2022 Gridiron West - Round 6 Thunderbirds vs West Coast Wolverines American Football Club We're travelling up the freeway to take on our rivals, the West Coast Wolve...rines! It's the first time for a few weeks all three of our teams suit up on the same day, and we always look forward to this great fixture. After taking down the Broncos in Round 3, our Juniors look to continue their momentum and march towards top place in a bid to win a second championship in three years. And after a resounding win last weekend, our Women have the potential to claim top spot in their respective competition, as they are on the hunt to win back-to-back championships. Our Seniors will round off the day and will look to string together a strong performance on both sides of the ball, after a third shut-out for the year was handed to the merged club last weekend. 18.01.2022 JET FUEL MELTS STEEL TEAMS The Thunderbirds overcome a defiant Westside Steelers Gridiron Club to pick up our second win of the Season. Round 4 of the Gridiron West saw the Perth Blitz Gridiron Club Womens Team and Jets Under 19s both on byes.... As such, all eyes were focussed on the Thunderbirds as they snapped a two game losing streak to take the win against the traditional rivals, with a final score of 34-20. The Thunderbirds are now looking onwards to our first home game of the Season against the Swan City Titans Gridiron Club on November 28th.
