08.01.2022 At our Club's dinner meeting last night President Lex Thomson had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for $3,000 to Role Models and Leaders Australia's founder Ricky Grace. The money was part of the proceeds from our 19th annual Sportsman's Lunch which was held in May this year. Ricky was our very well received guest speaker at the lunch. Role Models and Leaders Australia (RMLA), a not-for-profit charitable organisation founded in 2004 by Olympian and champion basketball Rick...y Grace (MEdL, BPolSc). RMLA is the leading provider of school-based programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Australia, developing and empowering youth through leadership training, mentoring, sport and extra-curricular programs. Our goal is to assist at-risk youth in overcoming the common barriers that prevent them from completing their education.
