07.01.2022 Isaac's Top tips on Cleaning Lead-light Windows... Lead-lights are harder to clean the older they are. This is because the lead which joins the glass together d...ecays over time, and releases a fine, whitish dust. (really tricky to clean) The best way I have found to clean lead-lights is to gently wash them with the regular window cleaning brush, dry with a towel, then clean the smudges with a detailing cloth. Don't assume you've done a good job until you've done both sides! They can be deceiving. You may have do the outside again! Always be careful of any loose or cracked glass panes. This is pretty common, so just go around them carefully... it WILL take a while but they'll look great when your done... Good luck! Perth window cleaning blog.
