10.01.2022 Over the last few months the Lions Club have been busy. We have had so many items, brand new and secondhand, donated to us. After being cleaned, a lot of these items have been advertised on Facebook and then sold. It has been our only way of raising money while covid has taken over the world. The members of the Clarence Town Lions Club want to thank everyone who has kindly donated items and/or purchased items from us. You are helping us raise money to put back into our beauti...ful community! We hope our markets can start back up in the coming months. We also hope to get our raffle back on track so we can sell more tickets and draw those lucky winners. Thank you for being such amazing humans and supporting our small club, we couldn’t do it without you. We hope to see you all soon! If you would like to become part of this wonderful team, you can send us a message on Facebook and someone will get back to you. See more

09.01.2022 We are here at the bowling club until 12pm.

08.01.2022 Hello everyone. Due to the recent outbreak of Covid in surrounding areas, we, the Lions Club, have made the conscious decision to cancel our market on Saturday. Even though we are still working within current government guidelines, we take the health and safety of everyone in our community very seriously, and want to do our best to protect our Lions Club members and everyone of the public. We apologise for any inconvenience and we hope to see you next month. Thank you.

05.01.2022 The Scouts are back and will be at our market tomorrow with their BBQ and we are excited! Come down and support your locals and have a beautiful morning in the fresh air. From 8am-12pm you will find us at the Clarence Town Bowling Club!

04.01.2022 Tomorrow is our monthly market, we will have many stalls in with amazing goodies. From seedlings, vegetables, second hand goods, books, to children’s toys. Come down and have a look. A quick reminder, we are still facing Covid-19 and we do require anyone feeling unwell or with flu like symptoms not to attend to help keep our community safe. Hand sanitizer will be available on arrival and departure. We hope to see you tomorrow.

03.01.2022 This is one of our picnic benches, usually it’s quite pleasant to sit here and enjoy the beautiful view. Some of the Lions Club members went to do their daily check on the park and saw this disappointing act of vandalism. It is almost impossible to remove spray paint, after some of the members scrubbed and cleaned this area, we are now going to have to repaint it due to the damage it has caused. The members of the Clarence Town Lions Club have worked so hard to provide and maintain this park for the wonderful community we live in. This senseless act has a profound effect on not only the Lions Club but the community, and travellers passing through.

02.01.2022 Remember our market is on this Saturday 8am-12pm!! It’s a great time to purchase Christmas gifts. If you are interested in busking please contact us via facebook, it will be no cost to you and you keep any money you make.

02.01.2022 Another incredible stall we will be having on Saturday is Bespoke Platters

01.01.2022 News update! This saturday the 18th of July we will be selling raffle tickets down in front of the Clarence Town IGA! All tickets previously purchased before covid will be going in this raffle.

01.01.2022 Hello lovely people of Clarence Town. Unfortunately this year due to covid we will not be holding our Pink Ribbon Day. We thought hard and long about it, however with all the food restrictions and everyone still being cautious, we thought we would give it a miss this year. Hopefully next year we will be back bigger than ever and we can have an amazing turn out. Thank you.
